Beer

Every once in awhile we get to celebrate something that needs to be celebrated, this could be a simple birthday party, a thanks giving, or a lavish wedding. The point is we celebrate occasions to commemorate our joy and thanks by sharing it with our loved ones and friends. A celebration is not complete or so called a celebration at all without the presence of beer.

Come to think of it, this coming 25th of May, I am planning to throw out my 42nd birthday party. It will be simple and will be inviting some good old friends and relatives to share with me the day I came to be. Nothing fancy, I'm to old for that, finger foods will be serve, roasted turkey as well and the rest will be taken cared by my wife. Beer will definite be on the sides for easy grabbing and to entice visitors to talk.

Hope that this party of mine will be a memorable one

starter assembly for komatsu forklift

I was tasked today to canvas and procure a spare part that is very much needed by the warehouse department for I am the purchaser of the company I worked for the past twenty years. I did my home work and canvased three suppliers for the starter assembly of Komatsu forklift. Davao Joni Auto Supply quoted 8,500 pesos, Charles Kent Auto Supply gave me a price of 7,800 and Poly Auto Supply had no stocks in their warehouse. Since the quoted part given by the suppliers were of the same brand and kind as well as origin which is Japan, I was compelled to get it from the cheapest and that is from Charles Kent Auto Supply.

The starter assembly of the komatsu forklift arrived in the doorsteps of the motorpool department office. Each and every soul of the mechanic are on the move to install the newly purchased part and if you may, the scene was pretty much like in the operating room were doctors and nurses are scrambling to save a life of a person.

Minutes gone by and the starter assembly of komatsu forklift was properly installed, everyone was crossing their fingers which included the manager. The operator turned on the key in the ignition but nothing happened. Second attempt was just the same, third forth and fifth seems we have a flat liner in the making. Luckily, the sixth attempt we have revive the sixty ton mammoth and everyone watching was relieved from the notion of a dead sixty ton work machine.

Everything was back to normal and the forklift was doing what it does best and that is making it easy for human laborers to lift what is to be lifted, hoisted and loaded. Thanks to the new starter assembly of komatsu forklift.

Summer is here in the Phillipines

Summer is here and the best way to cool down and stay away from the heat of the sun is plunge to the beach. This is one of the few activities that people here in the Philippines are doing aside from eating dirty ice cream (ice cream on wheels). We can not set aside, that I lived in a third world country and we are poor and this is the only alternative way that we can do to at least eradicate and escape the lashing of the noon day heat.

Going to the beach is much cheaper and very fun, you can play ball games, swim in the mirror flat water of the gulf of Davao, snorkeling, spear fishing and worst bask in the sand to make our tan complexion more tanner and get sunburn.

I know for some of you who happens to read this rant of mine that it's odd to do these activities under the heat of the sun, but it's our way of life here in my country, the Philippines. We find it amusing and often times our escape from the turmoils of poverty.
